The Texas Live Oak Festival is held under the shade of ancient Live Oak and blooming Southern Magnolia trees on the grounds of the historic Colorado County Courthouse in downtown Columbus, Texas.

Columbus is centrally located at the intersection of Interstate 10 and Highway 71 and is a comfortable drive from all of Texas' great metropolitan areas.

From Houston and points East:

Take IH-10 West approximately 70 miles to Exit #697 Columbus Business Hwy 90. Travel West on access road (Hwy 90) and cross over the Colorado River Bridge into downtown.  The Courthouse Square will be on the Left.

From Austin and points North:

Take Texas Highway 71 East approximately 80 miles to IH-10 West.  Merge onto to IH-10 West/Houston.  Travel approximately 2 miles and take Exit #694 Columbus.  Turn Left at Stop Sign on to Business Hwy 71. Veer Right at the "Y" onto Spur 52 (in front of Wal-Mart) and travel 1 mile.  Courthouse Square will be on the Right.

From San Antonio and points West:

Take IH-10 East approximately 90 miles to Exit #694 Columbus.  Turn Left at Stop Sign on to Business Hwy 71. Veer Right at the "Y" onto Spur 52 (in front of Wal-Mart) and travel 1 mile.  Courthouse Square will be on the Right.

From Victoria and points South:

Take Texas Highway 71 North/West approximately 50 miles to Columbus.  Veer Right at the "Y" onto Spur 52 (in front of Wal-Mart) and travel 1 mile. Courthouse Square will be on the Right.
